Duration of the Course :	4 weeks – 100 hrs (Theory: 60 hrs, Hands-on :40 hrs)
Course Outcome :	• Gain a comprehensive understanding of EV concepts. • Learn to program various systems used in electric vehicles. • Design and develop controllers and converters for EVs. • Understand the powertrain design process and perform simulations. • Learn to design and simulate BLDC motors.
Course Content :	Part 0: Introduction to EV System Architecture- Basic concepts of electric vehicle systems and their components. Part 1: Understanding Sensors & Actuators in EV- Detailed study of sensors and actuators used in electric vehicles. Part 2: Programming Controllers- Techniques for programming embedded controllers in EV systems. Part 3: PCB Designing of EV Controllers & Converters- Hands-on training in designing PCBs for EV controllers and converters. Part 4: Capstone Projects – 2-Wheeler Self-Coded Vehicle- A final project where students design and code an electric two-wheeler. Part 5: MATLAB Basics + Powertrain Development- Introduction to MATLAB and its use in designing EV powertrains. Part 6: Battery Design and Simulation in MATLAB- Techniques for designing and simulating battery systems used in EVs. Part 7: BLDC Motor Design using ANSYS- Designing and simulating BLDC motors with ANSYS software.
Methodology of Course Delivery :	Classroom Teaching: Interactive lectures for theoretical learning. Hands-on Practical: Practical sessions to apply learned concepts.
